Independent Outside Sales Representative

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Independent Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for representing and selling our range of bicycle protective gear to retailers and distributors within the state of Utah. This is an independent contractor role with high earning potential for self-driven individuals.
Territory:
The successful candidate will represent Utah, focusing on building relationships with key retailers and distributors within the state.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, bike shops, and outdoor sports distributors within the Utah territory.

Promote and sell our line of bicycle-related protective gear to potential clients.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the designated region.

Present product features, benefits, and safety certifications to clients, with a focus on the technological advantages of our protective gear.

Provide clients with product samples, catalogs, and promotional materials.

Attend industry trade shows, events, and expos to represent the brand and generate new business leads.

Provide detailed sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the company's sales management.

Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitor products, and pricing to maximize sales strategies.

Work closely with the company's internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any product or order-related issues.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the cycling, sports equipment, or outdoor industries.

Strong understanding of independent sales cycles and retail distribution.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to travel frequently within Utah.

Familiarity with bicycle protective gear technologies, safety certifications (CPSC, EN 1078), and product benefits is a plus.

Experience working with independent bike shops, sporting goods retailers, and outdoor distributors preferred.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based role, offering uncapped earning potential. Commission rates and additional incentive structures will be discussed during the interview process.
